Mother Mary Ward: A Woman of God and an Inspiration to All.
Mahatma Gandhi: A Fearless Soul
Keeping this theme in mind, students of class 3-F depicted the memories of these brave souls. The assembly commenced with the lighting of the candles of Knowledge, Wisdom, Peace and Bravery by our honourable sisters, teachers’ representative and students’ representative followed by a prayer dance. The students showcased a mesmerizing assembly on Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution towards achieving India’s Independence. They also highlighted the life journey of Mother Mary Ward – A powerful woman and visionary who believed in the strength of women. The students recited poems to pay tribute to these great souls. There was also an inspiring skit on – “BELIEVING IN OURSELVES WITH THE TRUST IN GOD”. And we also got inspired by the Maxims of Mother Mary Ward. By embracing God’s blessings, the students thanked the lord, for giving Mahatma Gandhi and Mary Ward to us for the betterment of our society. The melodious song – ‘MAKE ME A SERVANT’ was sung by the students. Reverend Sr. Jane, appreciated the students with her inspiring words. The assembly concluded with the School Anthem. At the end, all received an inspiring quote Popsicle on which it was written – “BE STRONG, SMART AND SUCCESSFUL”.
