Description:
Class 10 – D has expressed the theme, “Wake up the Phoenix inside your soul”, with the saga of an inspiring bird, ‘the Phoenix”, which cyclically regenerated from the ashes of its predecessor. This assembly began with a motivating poem, accompanied by graceful dancers.
‘Dumbeldore,’ a character from the popular ‘Harry Porter’ series is introduced to make the audience aware of the etymology of the legendary bird ‘Phoenix’. A dance drama then commences in order to bring an element of thill. It depicts the pain and hurt of a school teacher after a fateful accident, which then faces a gruesome struggle and rises up to leave an exemplary story behind her. A dance and later, a song very meticulously performed by the students, depict the emotional pain and trauma of one’s life. The recitation of Holy Scriptures and offering of grace also shows us the way to rise above all the suffering. The assembly concluded with wise words of Ma’am V. Sharma, who enlightened the audience of young people by her precious message that, “Sometimes you have to burn yourself to the ground before you can rise like a phoenix, from your own ashes”.
